The 1.4L TGDI gasoline engine manufactured by CHERY ACTECO is designed with cast aluminum cylinders and plastic air intake manifold. This straight-four engine also features TGDI, DVVT and EGR technologies.
As needed, the VVT system can adjust the valve timing dynamically, effectively matching all kinds of engine speed. Thus, when the car is running on various tough roads, the engine speed can be adjusted to an appropriate number and power output can be more linear and smooth. Finally, fuel consumption can be reduced.
This Euro V gasoline engine can reach the peak power output of 116kW/5000rpm and high torque of 220Nm, clearly dwarfing most 2.0L NA engines. In addition, the peak torque can be reached at the speed range from 1750-3500rpm, which covers the majority of city driving conditions.
